Didn’t know the restaurant wasn’t open when we booked otherwise we wouldn’t have bothered , The receptionist went out for pizza for those that wanted it . Unfortunately I’m a coeliac so I had nothing to eat till breakfast . Although the receptionist did cook me some gluten free bread. The trouble is it says you have a restaurant and you book accordingly and are sometimes disappointed

Lovely hotel, it looks very shabby chic from the outside as they say. But excellent value for the price. The restaurant is fantastic and the main reason why we chose to stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating, never rushing the dining experience. And the food was exceptionally good, all 3 courses that we had were not only stunning visually but gastronomically too. Everything made it a real pleasure to dine there.
